On June 18 of this year, the BBC in the UK published an article entitled like “Excess mortality rates around the world”.
The excess mortality rate is a statistical method that shows what percentage of deaths are higher than last year.
The “coronavirus death tolls” are published daily by countries around the world, but there is no standardized test method or criteria for testing, making it impossible to assess it fairly.
However, “a comparison of the number of deaths between last year and this year” would provide a very fair comparison.
As of June, statistics from the BBC showed that the UK, Italy, Brazil and Belgium had excess death rates about 40% higher, Spain and Indonesia were more than 50% higher, while Japan had a very low figure of 0.3%.
However, the statistics of the number of deaths in Japan are announced basically several months later, so at that time there was a rumor that goes “In fact, many people have died since April because the number of deaths has not been announced yet.” (←Actually, I thought so too, lol)
Recently, the Japanese government has released statistics on the number of deaths until July 2020.
According to the report, Japan’s excess death rate is -1.2%.
In other words, the fact that this year Japan has fewer people dying than last year has been revealed.
↑As you can see, this year (the red line) goes lower than last year (the blue line)

[ Is it actually true? – Possibilities to be faked ]
By the way, you might’ve thought, “I don’t understand why it’s so low! Isn’t the Japanese government faking the death toll?”
In fact, I suspected so too, lol.
However, if the death toll was actually very high, in this day and age, it would always be exposed on social media by medical professionals, undertakers, and relatives of the dead.
Even if it was possible to falsify the cause of death, etc., in a democracy, it’s almost impossible to cover up because each of the dead, including the place and time of death, is pretty strictly controlled. If there were a lot of deaths, you would see a lot of people lying on the street or dead, but so far I have never heard of such a thing in Japan.
No one in my family, relatives, friends, or acquaintances has died from coronavirus, and very few people have even been infected, so I feel, subjectively, that the numbers announced by the government may be correct, although this is my personal opinion.
↑Japan had an educational sexual science TCG and it had a coronavirus card earlier than this pandemic.. ^q^
Interesting. Thanks for sharing!
